Thanks to HotCopper hawks we get to know the true story behind " Good News "
As usual the devil is in the detail. And so good news of geting 100 mil a year becames not so good news of having their current contract reduced by 50 mil a year.
And on the top of that is not geting the Melbourne Tram contract that was worth 8 mil.
So net result for the day 58 mil a year worth of work lost and quite posibly expenses with staff redundancies due to NZ cut.
Not 1 billion plus I suppose. I guess the only good news is that TSE retained 2/3 of its previous NZ phone work.
