The benefecation plant tailings will be mixed with the hydrometallurgical plant tailings in the TSF so no, it’s not the same as the ore mined from the pit dude. Doesn’t mean it won’t be suitable to throw back in the pit but seriously doubt that will ever happen.
Can you substantiate your claim that waste will be returned to the pit?
Maybe you should read up on the issues Lynas had to overcome with waste storage at Mt Weld. NTU full scale project would produce over double amount of waste the concentration plant at Mt Weld produces meaning NTU would face double the problem. Won’t be an issue for NTU though as the full scale plant will never be built.
Again, if you want to post your ignorant comments about Lynas on the Lynas thread I will happily prove just how ignornt you really are.
