Because you keep trying to compare the production from Lynas who has been producing RE for fridge magnets for over 5 years, although at a loss for most of that time, with NTU's apparently "loss making" plant which is not even completed until next year using made up projections and pretend numbers to validate your investment decisions. As for "desperate efforts to defend your punt" I would say that over 4 years of downramping here would certainly qualify as desperate efforts. Well done and full marks for consistency even if you got nothing for the content.
That's the spirit, you just keep telling yourself the government won the last election so now they will be entrenched in power for the life of the plant. There will be no impact on LAMP because everyone there in Kuantan loves their LAMP in their backyard and putting international business investments above personal health for the sake of a few jobs and the good of foreign shareholders. Besides the police will protect Lynas by beating up and locking up anyone who even thinks of protesting against Lynas, at least until there is a change of government.
Never mind, the pain and suffering of long term shareholders could be over soon if opposition wins government, licence is not renewed or they start losing money again for whatever reason. Here is a glimpse of the future for LAMP,

Not sure why you'd be concerned about the wet unless the recent storm in Malaysia and previous tsunami is still in your subconscious mind. Please put your mind to rest and stop worrying about rain and flooding that sometimes occurs around Tanami during the wet season because that mostly affects underground mining and has minimal impact on open cut mining. Projects are not built on floodways or riverbeds so even following heavy rain the impact on construction is minimal to none. Biggest wet I remember was at Solomon Hub when we had over 600mm of rain in less then 24hrs. I was staying at Kangi camp which is built on a hill and surrounded by a meter deep trenches to take the water away but even that was flooded for a few hours. The next day they closed the airport road while the graders fixed the washed up parts and construction boys from RCR got to rest in the camp for the day , mostly because FMG didn't want the road to site churned up. Construction was still completed on time and on budget.
Anyway, from reading the latest announcement from NTU I can assure you that we have completed the mining stage LAST month ahead of the wet season and now all the raw product required for the pilot plant is stacked up and waiting for processing. You should really check out the latest presentation because it has some nice pictures you'd enjoy,

So you see, any concerns you may have about the wet affecting NTU progress can go in the Unfounded Concerns basket with the rest of your previous concerns.
