Firstly I agree with you that Lynas is in production , unfortunately they were running at a loss for years and was only saved from bankruptcy to provide an alternative supply of RE to Chinese . Without the special interest rate they would not afford the repayments even at the higher ndpr prices let alone when more mines come online and ndpr price returns to long term average. Now that more mines are gearing up to produce RE I can understand why some long suffering LYC shareholders , particularly if they entered a few years ago when prices went above $2 and shares on issue where only a fraction of the current Billions , would get anxious and attempt to rubbish any stock that they consider a treat to Lynas survival and any chance of recovering their dough. If that and the massive debt wasn't bad enough they have to now worry about dilution by bondholders, consolidations and then further dilutions. I feel for LYC shareholders, I really do.

With regards to the announcement you find disturbing I can't see why you are having an issue with the government paying for training of the local indigenous people so they can be gainfully employed at NTU. Would you rather have some FIFO from Sydney or Melbourne taking the jobs or have the government spend some money on training them now and then recover it later by saving on Centrelink payments ?
The fact that the government was prepared to spend this money shows they have the confidence this project will be a winner.

As for the question with regards to price per kg that seems to preoccupy you, despite NTU still being in the construction stage, I'm still waiting for you or your sage to look into your crystal ball and tell me what the next year's monthly average price for Dy and exchange rate are going to be so I can give you the answer you are looking for. Until you do that I'm afraid I will be unable to answer your question so why waste our time asking it ? But you know that or would have known it if you took the time to read paragraph 3 page 14 of the announcement re NTU sale agreement.

And most importantly please remember to DYOR before coming onboard NTU.
