I live in the NT and just read ABC news about the mine approval - when do you guess that they will be mining and making money?

Yes the NT is plagued by snail pace decision making. The ALP just recently drove up the floor price of wine (to stop indigenous binge drinking) and said beer would not be affected - but Oops it was - so now they have the working class ALP voters up in arms! I reckon too the ALP is captive to the far left/greens and this is a big reason for the extreme slowness - but seemed to happen under the CLP too.
