Esh - I got to say I am an admirer of Anton, he's a true pioneer and a very savvy operator. But it appears to me there is some very murky waters surrounding the holdings and corporate structure of what has been established.
I am also an admirer of Beament, the NST empire is the 21 century's western mining IMO. You cant blame him for being opportunistic in this scenario. Sure 150M is a low-ball offer, but you can look at it from a different angle:
I look at the value realised from the EKJV by NST over the last four years. Anton's companies have ponied up the 49% of costs, but NST have focussed 100% into the planning, mining, exploration and processing yielding GROWTH and PROFIT Rand and Tribune would NEVER have seen under ANY other operator.
End of the day Bill Beament put the gold bars in the Perth Mint for shareholders, not Anton. Maybe Rand and Tribune shareholders should be asking for a cash AND script offer to keep riding the NST train.
Just my 2c mate. Unlike the majority of muppets on this forum I've got a tonne of respect for your opinion and views even if we don't always agree.
