Before anyone, including me, takes this too seriously though, I note in the announcement they seem to indicate any growth stemming from ‘the seed crystal’ will be self funded?
Possibly this is to reassure shareholders their dividend stream will not be diverted into robotics or other development?

And as well as the employees being thrilled and relieved, as I said above , anyone who reads a newspaper or hears of this ‘save’ on radio or TV will be giving NRW a thumbs up ......

i agree with a lot of above positive comments (as per my lots of likes). However, for my 2cents worth it’s not just diversification, what looks like a great price and keeping people employed .... it’s also that this adds non-project annuity style income to the business. This just de-risks NWH further and will reduce the required return for analysts (thus boosting valuations more than just the EPS increase).
Great deal NWH guys and good outcome for the 300 RCR people, I’m betting these new people will add value with the NWH family just as well as the Golding team did.
