Seuss so do you think it is fair that the shareholders(not the board members) that have invested Millions into the company should sit back and see their investment go down the drain.  For all anyone knows with a change of management there could be any number of worthwhile profitable projects on the table for consideration by shareholders.

I personally think that you have misinterpreted  why and what the shareholder group was created for, all they require is change as they have had enough of the present boards inability to bring to fruition any of the actual resolutions that have been voted on over the last 3 years.
