The succession planning for Ken Williams as was mentioned in his notice of intent to resign at the AGM has allowed the board plenty of time to find a replacement director with the intent of making him/her Chairman. This could surely have been done in time for the Notice of meeting and averted the need for a shareholder request. Perhaps no credible and suitably qualified candidates wished to join the board!
It is, IMO a pity that Ken Williams has been included as someone to get rid of when he has served the company for 15 years and made his intentions clear months ago.
Paul Clark (Clark888) has signed the 249D document as the only non Johnson family member. His long term holding and insight make me confident in his judgement on this, he has a very large stake in the company for a private investor..
