- Management had previous history of failing to raise capital.
- Management had announced there was enough money to fully fund drilling.
- For some reason or other (unexplained) the management still decided to raise capital ahead of ant drilling result.
- NT, OHD were in abvlivion and no drilling results from Guyana. A reasonably clear sign a capital raising would fail.
- For some reason or other (unexplained) the management still decided to raise capital ahead of drilling or any clarity on NT and OHD.
- SP was at long time low. Appealing to "institutional" investors (some call them "Mates" on here) but even them would need more meat to the bait.
- What would be a good way to bring in some quick cash and attract "institutional" investors? Attach some freebe options. LOTS of them, at peanuts rate for what some on here call "Mate's rate".
- Two possibilities:
- Either management did not see this comming; people selling their shares they acquired under SPP for the options and causing this SP carnage, or
- Management could see this comming, yet deciding to go ahead with the "plan"? Hmmmm, makes you scratch your head ... The "institutional" investors are just "lucky" GPP has such management.
Ummmm ... did someone say SP carnage was @fooca's fault who did nothing but giving you indications in advance about the situation?!?!?!
