bottom line, we know the money was in the bank. The auditor confirm, they did check with the bank and confirm the money was there.
what causes the father to transfer the shares ( i say transfer instead of sell ).. at a price much less than cash in the bank ?
was he under some sort of threat, to pay a personal debt?? did his son, the CEO know he was transferring the shares.. maybe his son didn’t want him to transfer the shares because it would add to the votility of the share price, but he did it anyway without informing his son.
were the owners under some sort of threat from the triad to pay back a personal debt in a hurry ? something that they cannot publicly say.
for they would have been the stupidest scammers, releasing media announcement cancelling buy back, and cancelling dividend causing share price to drop. Then started to sell the shares at all time low price instead of being able to sell it at double the price.. there is much more to this story, i don’t think the owners are that stupid.
someone need to ask these questions at the EGM?
