What are your thoughts on this concept:

Would the Wilson family achieve a higher status in the eyes of history if they allocate some of that ownership transfer to the people who built their empire, their hardworking employees. Some form of equity transfer over time perhaps? That would not be beyond their collective wit, honour and lasting legacy. Or am I ignoring the fundamental constructs of capitalism and my inclinometer is no longer dead level. After all, any employee is free to allocate their spare capital as they so wish.

I guess employee ownership structures only really work for non listed companies.
