Good question and I share your concerns.
My understanding is Jack isnt coming back and I have heard rumours of legal action on the way he was dismissed.
Jack has a good track record with Impedimed... and moves in the Biotech circles with Medtronics. My bugbear is that on the first occasion I met him (first of 3) - I misunderstood or was misled about his share holding. My fault for not doing the DD on what I had thought he told me (?). Each time he presented - I was very impressed how well connected he is, and Medibio needed that. Even the story of how they got to Fitbit is all Jack. No way Brian Mower could have achieved that.
Linemaker says Peta has 2 other job offers so suspect chances of her coming back are slim - but if the Chairperson doesnt go - they are zero.
If you look at Prendergast, Phelps and Kennedy - they clearly were identified by Jack. Chris isnt connected in those circles. Interesting how they have now stabbed Jack in the back but it happened to Caesar as well...
I am not sure who identified Maxwell... but I get the feeling he is close to Indermaur and so it was probably Indermaur.
The key here is the company and it is in financial despair, with the wrong Chairman and CEO... burning money with its Minneapolis staffing, and expensive board...
What CEO or Chairman would step into this role... You would do your own DD and show that you are picking up a poison chalice unless they got funding first.
The only replacement for Indermaur is Maxwell as the 3 Americans are there for other reasons. I suspect Maxwell is tainted by those who were going to put money into the company and any other new money will be at an extreme discount.
You might say - should they just leave things with Indermaur / Maxwell / Mower in place... then I think with all of its IP and technology it is a cheap takeover for Fitbit or similar and that is what will happen. This technology would be a great differentiator for Fitbit over Garvin etc.
It may not achieve the diagnostic role in depression that Stampfer dreamed off last century, but sometimes the mass use as a screening test causing people to report to review is still a good outcome.
