A company that I hold just went thru it and it failed. In my opinion it was a play for control of the companies future funding amongst other things. They had X.X% between them, formed a substantial holder and tried to oust a few of the board thru an EGM, the large majority of HC posters (some hold substantial amounts) after much discussion stuck with the old board. We knew the basics of the proposed new director’s direction before the vote!
