I should say I have no problem with the TNT executive team getting well paid. Executives, particularly good ones, don’t come cheap.
But as a shareholder I expect results in return. 250k a lot of money to pay anyone in a business that is only turning over 5 million and not even profitable. Moving forward we want to see results.
And I know Tesserent like to sell the blue reef acquisition as a big win, because there was a net financial gain. However, it doesn’t seem to be good policy to make a big acquisition and then offload it within 12 months - even if there is profit involved. As I understand it you would generally make an acquisition with the long term in mind and to build a long term partnership. Maybe the blue reef sale to family zone was out of the blue, but as a shareholder I wouldn’t want to see further acquisitions unless it was a long term partnership.
