Yeah, agree red-frog - there could well be something in the name change.....
As for PDY/ASRG developing Oakagee, well that simply isn't going to happen. The company can change their name, but they are scarred for life......
Would not be surprised at all if Sinosteel are eventually involved in some way in the development of Oakagee. Additionally, given the current state of the WA economy atm, the WA Gov may be a little more supportive next time around if a "serious" and large, foreign "local" came up with a funding option.
Tenement acquisition, exploration and mine development should be the sole focus of PDY into the future - there are currently opportunities to build a substantial portfolio of mineable assets and then outsource them to 3rd parties to build and sell the ore (DSO), thereby increasing the value of the Midwest region and building pressure for the port/rail solutions to be built, by others.
It will be interesting to hear their plan for the future, however lets simply hope she gets back onto the bourse at some time this year, even if it will be under a new code. A consolidation and new SP or SPP may even be considered, although don't know how successful a SPP would be..... Regardless, its been a long wait, but hopefully some good may come out of this for the long suffering SH's - even if only to allow an exit strategy.
GLTAH.
