Page 28 COF Annual report: Payment for performance over a 3 year period is a long term reward (LTR).
Insurance for shareholders : Remuneration retention
Convince listed companies through their chairmen that it is in their best interests for a meaningful portion of executive remuneration to be withheld in equity for up to two years beyond CEO termination, retirement, resignation or redundancy.
With 'skin in the game' for two years after departure some alignment between senior executives and shareholders will be maintained.
