re: Ann: Notice of Annual General Meeting/Pro...
They (Directors)don't deserve any thing for free. The SP has lagged around this level for the last 12 months, all Mr Finch has done is assist in many of us being less wealthy than we were 12 months ago, partly due to him not promoting TRF enough to the market.
Why should he get all of those options for free? We as shareholders don't get rewarded for maintaining our loyalty, what do we get for free?
You don't get a bonus unless you perform, and Mr Finch has not performed to our expectations over the last 12 months. If I was conducting his performance appraisal, he would not get the ticks in the boxes for this options reward.
If anyone in this forum can make an appropriate comparison of actual CEO and organisational performance against predetermined performance criteria for Mr Finch, then I am all ears, please try to change my mind?
In my opinion, he has failed to keep the market interested in TRF and made us much poorer in the process.
Pull your socks up Mr Finch and get the funding for the project sorted now. You wont be getting my vote for a ticket on the options gravy train.
This sort of greed is what creates mistrust and affects the credibility and personal integrity of directors, and causes division among shareholders.
Now is the time for MR Finch to act as a responsible director and draw a line in the sand and not give out free options for management unless it is well deserved and based on good performance and returns gained for shareholders.
Directors are expected to set the highest example, so lets see if Mr Finch has both the professional and personal integrity to NOT issue himself 1,000,000 share options, and do the right thing by all shareholders and also maintain his credibility?
