i agree that placements are a bit of a rort.
however if you look up the last placement it was 100% taken up by Substantial Holder Washington Soul.
Unlike sophisticated investors Washington Soul does NOT dump on to the Market for quick abitrage profit.

Let's hope this upcoming placement goes the same way.

ps wash soul is 'limited' to 20% of total shares on issue unless it makes some declaration about TakeOver intentions.
however we don't know yet the Number of Shares in this placement only the value.
