'Five years later and it seems HAV has stood still.'

Preceding the 2013 EGM, Grigor and co issued An Urgent Notice to HAV Shareholders. Some extracts from that notice dated 2/8/13:

"Why You Should Vote

Havilah has a strong mineral endowment with valuable assets which have yet to realise their strong cashflow potential...

Havilah has a portfolio of low cost, high value projects in iron ore and copper-gold. However, our view is that the company lacks the necessary project development, corporate and commercial skills to progress these significant resources through the project development stage...

The time has come for change. As a shareholder, it is your right to action that change now...'

HAV prevailed by a margin of ~ 2 to 1 at that EGM with 78% of securities cast (871 holders).#

Five years later (or too late?), on 26/6/18, in the CTTW video presentation, Dr Giles said:

"The logical conclusion, the inevitable conclusion as far as we are concerned is that for us standing still is just not an option…”

The 2018 AGM is an opportunity for shareholders to send a message to HAV Board & Management.

# By way of comparison at the 2017 AGM, based on resolution 1, 12% of securities were cast (175 holders).

A takeaway from this is that holders don't usually vote, but when it matters they do.
