I am surprised at the size of the shortfall, particularly given the share price was above the offer of 1.4 cents at closing last Friday. This was just free money for existing holders and I'm gobsmacked everyone didn't jump in even if you had to take the cash off the credit card or the mother in law. Interest rates are about the same for both in my case.
