This is tremendous news! An excellent start to 2018.
Have looked at the 16 recommendations in the EPA's report and can see nothing that would keep me awake at night. They identified the key risks as long-term radioactive waste management, which isn't too surprising given LYC's Malaysian issues, and groundwater use, again to be expected given the project's arid location.
I also noticed in perusing the EPA's website that they recently gave the green light to an underground hazardous waste disposal project south of Alice Springs. Looks to me like the NT Government is very keen to see projects getting going in and around Alice. Projects like Nolans!
