Pretty fair statement from AH I thought. It has seemed all along to me that IDX managers were more interested in protecting their own jobs than looking after the interests of their shareholders.

However I still believe it was a bad judgement call to go ahead with a hostile takeover, without having all the institutions on board. However we don’t know what they might have been told early on. Public statements are not necessarily indicative of what they might have said privately prior to the launch.

Hopefully over time the damage done to Capitol by the unpleasantness of this bid will be washed away by increasingly good results and by returns from China and Enlitic.
