I received a very thorough, lengthy and prompt response from Rocky Smith last night,

Most of this has been covered in Rocky's AGM address so I'm sure it's fine to quote from his email as below;

"while the Tanzanians have not issued any SML’s (there are three pending), they have issued a handful of ML’s in the past couple months"

"We have received written communication that the Mining Commission, has pushed our application to the Mining Ministry,"

"We have been very active in country, I have been in Tanzania six times this year and my Development Manager has 13 visits in 2018."

"we are actively pushing, not only for the granting of the SML, but also to improve our ability to finance the project once the SML is granted."

"you are always welcome to give me a call if you have a concern."

They are in regular contact with the Minister of Mining and The Mining Commission

He's careful not to put a date as he's been wrong before, but next step appears to be "the Mining Minister will move our application into Cabinet for a vote."
