Gas prices in US drop to $2.50 per mmbtu a couple of years ago due to shale gas revolution. The industry realised that there is no money to be made at that price. Today gas prices are hovering at $4 per mm btu. Clearly, the shale oil industry will find a reasonable oil price where oil producers can make money. It is inevitable.
