i visited Lily Hill earlier today for a quick look.The only movement i could discern was that one of the deck cranes slewed a few times which hopefully meant they were lifting drill pipes.
Have just been reviewing some announcements to try and figure out where they should be.The BOPs were supposed to be fitted on Sunday but they were 24 hrs behind schedule so they should have been in place yesterday.At this point the hole is 314mtrs deep and ready to drill 8 1/2 inch hole"yesterday".
Now, the independent report from RPS group(18 Nov 2010)concludes that in sediments from 471 to 605 mtrs below sea level that gas is expected to be encountered,coincident with the Great White and Marlin Prospects.
I think we could be much closer to our first sniff than people think and also interesting that some big wheels from the company are there today as well.

PS there is a slight discrepancy in these numbers as some are taken from sea level and others from rotating table(20 mtrs diff).
