Sorry to say i don't have much to report.Arrived close to the OP at approx 9.00am to be intercepted by a marine radio call from the Tour Maline informing us that we could not approach any closer than 2 miles.Questioned them about the 500mtr exclusion zone but was told no it is 2 miles ?? After the episode in Newcastle last week maybe they are a little nervous.The radio operator was busy and contacted 3 other vessels while we were in the area.They also talked to Port Stephens Coastal Patrol informing them that at 10-30am they would be having their weekly emergency evacuation training.
Took a few pics (attached) - had a good set of binoculars and could't see any pipes directly below the derrick even when i got home and zoomed on the relevant areas.
Otherwise had a great blokey day-caught some fish-yes that's me- drank some beer and talked lots of s##t
