The general Oso Negro area is attracting some interest in Canada's The Northern Miner via neighbour Silvercrest Minerals.

The first article mentioned Silvercrest as a possible takeover target because of its Las Chispas property to the west of Oso Negro.

The February 14 announcement of the discovery of a narrow but previously unknown high grade vein adds some spice to the above rumours.  

While Oso Negro is far from flavour of the month for some here, it may become an interesting project once, if ever, Opasura is in production.  

The initial grades and multiple veins bear some similarities to Las Chispas and other deposits in the area so worth more exploration and a few holes in due course IMO.
