Nor I am sure as to what you mean by "like most", NIP has a number of resources and are in the final stages of defining their extent. Niplat's next decision will most likely be how best to develop them.

From memory I believe they are currently doing some preliminary studies into the design of an open pit.

Its a bit slow going I must admit but the "wet season" significantly curtails the field season.
