Darlek is a complex ore body made up of 27 resource surfaces in a stacked reef complex. The drill results
located mineralisation largely where expected, but with less predictability as to thickness. Overall, there
is an acceptable correlation in the well-drilled central and northern part of the pit where the pit floor is in
fresh rock. However, in the more lightly drilled southern sections the infill holes encountered
mineralisation that was narrower than predicted."
drc016 - shows v good hits below the previously indicated "potential pit" outline (see sect figs 2&4) ......this implies any pit can be bigger and pot for resource inceases .......
Flinders looks like it is going to get bigger (see Nott Castle .....)
I would really really like to see MCR take some decent samples up to Sunrise and chk the met recoveries ......like 50 and 100 T sizes !!!!!! this would provide the market with:
1. demonstation that ore is esily toll treatable
2. show what recoveries can be achieved
3. give some confidence in mine planning / schedualling (ie there is likely to be a few pits in operation at the same time ......)
given the variation in thicknesses - it should be obvious that this is not "super simple" and that MCR appears to be not wanting to f......up !
it is also clear that the resource base is going to grow ......"
The targets to be drilled include the
newly interpreted high-value shoots at Bass, the potential northern extension at West Oliver, the new
sub-parallel trends at Hronsky, and the potential southern extension to the main Flinders Central trend.
"
however - resources without cashflow .........is not a wise strategy in the current environment !!!!
ie: work out which bits in the current known resource base can make some $$$$ ..........and do it .........
they are already 6+months behind on gold feas study .......
