re: Ann: NEW MASSIVE SULPHIDE INTERSECTION EX... Hi Bosco,
I love SXG's ground and always have. If you compare this greenstone belt with others, it's far more underexplored, yet there are a number of +1m oz deposits.
The last mgmt wasted time and shareholder money flicking from one project to the next with no focus. It appears mgmt are doing a better job by zeroing in on Marda.
I think Marda has some promise at a high gold price, but note it has been picked over before. What is does offer is a regional processing centre for the large number of stranded resources held by other small players like VEC and BCN.
I think the prize lies in a ballsy and aggressive exploration programme looking for large +1moz deposits.
Note that the "Red Boomerang prospect, where porphyry-hosted mineralisation has been previously identified. This porphyry host demonstrates the potential for large mineralised systems along that trend by analogy with other porphyry-hosted systems in the Yilgarn Craton such as Kanowna Belle"
This attracted me to SXG on IPO. It puzzles me why either mgmt hasnt thrown exploration dollars into it.
Radio forget it, has been looked over by so many and nothing has come of it. Mount Rankin was an old Burmine (pre SOG) pit that has nothing left to it either.
The MC is rediculously low, however I have a gold play in my signature that has more ounces, more cash and is producing gold off old stockpiles with a MC of $22m . . go figure. Still, Im watching SXG with interest
