When a stock isn't heading in the direction and at the velocity that meets or exceeds a persons expectations based on [ _____ ] (insert any number of reasons), then the only thing left to talk about is how its something else's fault, and the easiest thing to blame is bots - because obviously the tiny buy/sell nonsense that they are pushing through is what is making all the difference. Then eventually sentiment changes and the stock does what the person wanted it to and all of a sudden talk of bots ceases and everything is right in the world. Coincidentally bots continue operating the entire time doing their same little games and in hindsight its obvious that sentiment is what drove price up and down but when its going up we forget we need someone to blame. Thats probably as best as I can explain it.
