Nobody I’ve spoken to on HC knows exactly how it works.

All I can tell you is that the QGIS mapping server has reasonably up-to-date info on mining tenements in Catamarca. But I’m told this is not an “official” notice board. Everything “official” gets published in a bulletin (boletin). The boletin for each county publishes stuff like births, deaths, marriages, court cases, establishment of new businesses and (da, dadadaaa) granting and transferring of exploration and mining leases.

I’ve never been able to find the boletin notices for our tenements online, but I assume there’s a search engine for a database somewhere that could locate them.

The reason that everyone is excited is JP now shows up on QGIS as the license holder for Candela X (and a bunch of other stuff). So we’re pretty sure it’s in the bag but until it’s in the boletin the company won’t announce it.
