BUZZ-Australia's King River Resources hits 1-month peak on high-grade gold prospects

** Shares of King River Resources Ltd rise as much as 12.1 pct to A$0.037, their highest since Dec 7
** The explorer of gold, silver and copper says drilling at its Mt Remarkable Project, Western Australia, intersects "a new, very high-grade gold zone" [nASX3lTbbh]
** Co says the discovery is "very encouraging", confirms co's belief that multiple high-grade shoots exist at project's eastern most line Trudi and are yet to be discovered
** Stock posts biggest intraday pct gain since Dec 24
** About 4 mln shares change hands, compared with the 30-day average volume of about 1.7 mln
