Never ever feel lucky because you did not purchase or hold any Forge group shares.
Misleading is not allowed in law. Last year I bought Volkswagen car and the car sales person mislead me. I talk to legal commission and lawyer, both told me this is not allowed and they asked me to asked for compensation. At the same time, they advise me to report this to consumer rights. I eventually get back the compensation.
I am not sure about shares but I am sure misleading is not allowed in law.
You will have to worry if the directors have no legal action against them as the trends can be more directors will mislead the shareholders in the future while they still earn the money from the shares and get the bonus that they want etc(especially follow directors of Forge group).
Thus I do suggest even non shareholders of Forge should have reflects this to ASIC or relevant authorities as there is a chance of you could be the next victims if this misleading trends keep going.
