“The Succoth Deposit is a large, Inferred copper resource of 156mt @ 0.60% Cu (management thinks more drilling will significantly increase the resource*), located only 13km northeast of Nebo that could have significant benefits to the Project by providing additional mineralisation to a future mining operation at Nebo-Babel.” There’s clearly Ni here somewhere too. Does anyone believe this ore is destined for Nebo-Babel plant? Not on the current plan for 10mt/pa plant. I just can’t see it. But OZL could have in mind a Stage 2, a 2nd plant. As I’ve said in other posts this is reminding me of Kaz Minerals in Kazakhstan. The Bozshakol mine and on-site processing facilities are located in the north of Kazakhstan and have an annualore processing capacity of 30 million tonnes and a mine life of 39 years at a copper grade of 0.35%. The Aktogay mine is a large scale, open pit operation similar to Bozshakol. Aktogay commenced production of copper cathodefrom oxide ore in December 2015 and achieved commercial production on 1 July 2016. The existing concentrator has an annual ore processing capacity of 25million tonnes when fully ramped up. On 21 December 2017 the Group announced a$1.2 billion expansion project at Aktogay, to double sulphide ore processing capacity to 50 million tonnes from 2021. With an expanded processing capacity Aktogay will have an estimated mine life of 28 years. Okay,it’s a +1bt mine but grade is 0.35%Cu. Who knows, maybe Succoth could be +300mt 0.6%Cu + Ni +PGE. WMP– it’s BIG! At 6min 30sec – “this project is too big for Cassini. It needs a major”*see at 5 min 30sec & 13:40 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1_k0ExQ53A&t=6s
