Hi Vic. I personally don't know too much about Dr Richards. It does appear that he did pretty amazing things with GXL. Later GXL did run into problems, I suspect associated with "deworsification". I think by that point Dr Richards was a non executive director, and I think his influence on the board had diminished.

Dr Holmes seems to me fairly immovable in his steady approach, so I'm personally not too concerned. I suspect he will be able to benefit from Dr Richard's experience.

But good question. Maybe Madamswer has more insight. Perhaps this is a good question for a post under GXL?
