If they were honest maybe they would say something like :
"We don't feel your frustration because we haven't invested our hard earned money in the company at market rate. We get paid to go to work you see, & give ourselves dividends. Also, I know we've been saying for at least 10 years while you've been a shareholder that our plan is produce data & consider offers from Big Pharma. We don't feel like formalising any because we feel they were too cheap at $350 million with milestones. We prefer to wait "for the big one" & not generate any interest even though we can reject their offer. We are aware of other junior companies getting good offers for products less proven than ours & at infancy stages, but refuse to believe it's our management & negotiating styles. We would like you to "hang in there" for another 10-20 years & when we produce the data the Big Pharma will come".
