Pro, you might also consider the fact you will avoid brokerage. Half of you $500 holding is $250 with a $30 brokerage fee from CommSec that's 12% of the cost.
$2.36 times 12% is 28c leaving it net price of $2.08, you would be better of selling at $2.10!
On a serious note I agree that current holders will benefit from this deal, thanks to the large holders doing the heavy lifting.
