re: Ann: New brakes can eliminate 90 tonnes o... There are so few of us with ABV but we will be wearing grins from ear to ear before christmas. I have a lot of respect for Ken Johnsen and his hard working team, he leaves nothing to chance and the production of the garbage truck brakes is another leap (not a step) in the right direction.
The thing I really liked about his last report on the 19th. July (today) is that if you recall we were talking about fitting the "SIBS" brakes to new vehicles, he must be reading posts on HC so another selling point would be the reduced cost when fitted to chassis off the assembly line.
