Very doable for a deceased estate or a divorce settlememt to be worth $5 million plus these days, especially if someone purchased a few Sydney properties in the 70's or 80's and held them, or some industrial real estate.
Just look out at past Castle Hill in Sydney, to suburbs like Rouse Hill. You could purchase 5 acres out their for relative peanuts 30 years ago. Now the same 5 acres can be worth $10 million plus.
For me its not just the size of the win in dollar terms, its the speed of the win and the ROI percentage.
Whilst not perhaps a "flashy" case, could be a quick $1 million profit if we are successful, which can go straight into the IMF dividened fund.
