T Toba Bara Sejahtra Tbk (Toba Bara) is one of the major competitive producer of thermal coal in Indonesia. Founded in 2010 as subsidiary of the PT Toba Sejahtra Group, Toba Bara has grown into a major coal producer operating 3 (three) coal mine concessions in East Kalimantan with strong regional sales. These adjacent coal mining concessions, which are held through various operating companies, all enjoy highly favorable mine location, with close proximity to local river ports. Since we commenced production in 2007, we have experienced rapid ascension towards becoming a leading enterprise in our field on the back strong results and solid growth. Toba Bara’s concession areas total approximately 7087 hectares, with a total estimated resources of 236 million tons.
Our first development of greenfield asset began with PT Indomining in 2007 followed by the ABN site in 2008. Suqsequently, the development of PT Trisensa Mineral Utama (TMU) site commenced in 2011. In parallel, we continue to integrate our coal supply chain for better cost efficiencies, and strive to enlarge coal reserves and resources.
At a historic moment on July 6th, 2012, Toba Bara listed its shares at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) under the ticker ‘TOBA’ and released as many as 210,681,000 shares or 10.5% of its paid up capital with an IPO proceed of Rp 400,293,900.000,- The initial share price is offered and traded at Rp 1900 per shares.
