The study wasn’t powered for half the data and so hope springs eternal that they might come good. Little do they realize that George has just given up. It doesn’t matter whether he was in the placebo or intervention group. Lack of compliance in either group reduces certainty about efficacy effects.

I don’t think anyone would ask the FDA about their view of making interim results publicly available. Their view is already well known and is spelled out in guidance documents, its also plastered everywhere in the literature. Everyone thinks its a bad idea.

And no jamesc666 the study design is parallel assignment not cross-over.
