I recently heard a chief executive interviewed from a company in Hong Kong who funds the start up of small companies.

He was asked what was the most important factor he looked for in selecting a company to back. His answer was the quality of its management team.

With good a management team he said, even if the original business model fails, they have the ability to adapt and change to make it a success.

One can only hope that this new management team has the ability to succeed.
