Can only give you a very simple but I think totally compelling answer Bob.. China Telecom would not be continuing to expand its deployment it if it was not proven. As I heard it, China Telecom tested a Beta version for some time, bugs were then ironed out and China Telecom were then satisfied that the technology was beneficial/valuable (and therefore I deduce proven). Further evidence of the NET technology exists in the latest announcement which indicates that China Telecom has now progressed to taking NET technology inside the cloud....
I am no tech guru (probably obvious), I only get information from people who are knowledgeable about the product and who have contact with the company...
