you make some great points Morrison - one thing that has put me off LIC's is the feeling that they are filling their own pockets and not always acting in the interests of the shareholders.
Several of the major LIC's offer 100% franking on their dividends. one thing that has put me off CTN is it's 50% franking - do you take this into account at all when comparing their returns?
Otherwise CTN looks to be very well priced and a good way of tapping into the small cap part of the ASX.
