Yep I agree with that, they beat their benchmark indices and so they should trade at a premium to nta. They think carefully about how they go about raising funds and their method ends up benefitting existing shareholders because they own the managing company. They give great exposure to the part of the asx which doesn't look overvalued at present. They are my LIC of choice. So many others are run to benefit the managers only and not the shareholders in my opinion.
