PGF is long/short, yep. Personally I'd say anytime you get a +10% discount, that's a reasonable deal. But it should be in the context of the fund and the broader market in general. For example, as at 30 November 2015, the raw average premium/discount for LICs with international portfolios is -8% (I don't have access to more current data at present). Premiums prevalent during 2014/2015 have predominantly reverted to discounts.
