Probably better opportunities in the medium term as well.
Wish there were Japanese and European LICs. If you want European stocks, you have to take US stocks as part of the package, and even most Asian focused LICs steer clear of Japanese stocks. Seems to me the only reason is that Japan isn't part of their benchmark, which tends to be the MSCI Asia (ex Japan) index.
Japan seems to be a real big hole in our LIC universe.
