I was just looking at the latest PAF monthly update and they specifically state under Number of Stocks "As a guide, around 15-35 equities whose predominant business is in the Asian (ex-Japan) region."
By that, I take it that their investment universe pretty much matches that of their benchmark.
EAI, on the other hand, hold a single Japanese stock (not sure which one....Ellerston aren't exactly generous with their information), so they seem a little less bound to exclude Japan than PM Capital.
